Understanding Your Dental Insurance

Dental insurance policies operate differently from standard medical insurance. Coverage details are determined by the specific plan selected by your employer and managed by your dental insurance provider. For the most accurate explanation of your benefits, it’s best to review your plan documentation or speak directly with your insurance company.

As part of our commitment to patient care, we submit dental insurance claims on your behalf. During your visit, we’ll offer a cost estimate based on the information provided to us by your insurer. Please keep in mind, this estimate is not a final guarantee of coverage. Actual reimbursement amounts may vary once your claim is reviewed and processed.

f your insurance pays less than anticipated, any remaining balance becomes your responsibility. Conversely, if an overpayment occurs, we will issue a refund or apply a credit to your account accordingly.

If you have questions about your plan, payment options, or our financial policies, our administrative staff is available to assist you.

Appointment Cancellation Policy

In order to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize disruptions to patient care, we ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice for any appointment changes or cancellations.

Effective March 1, 2018, a $75 fee will apply to the following situations:

  1. Appointments missed without prior notice
  2. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice
  3. Late arrivals (more than 10 minutes) if the visit cannot be accommodated
  4. This policy helps ensure that all patients have access to timely dental care and that provider time is used efficiently.
  5. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to supporting your child’s dental health. For any questions, please feel free to contact our office.
